Wednesday nights at 7:00 p.m. in the fellowship hall, we’re currently studying “When the Disciple is Ready to Disciple Others,” taught by Pastor Jeff.
We believe the Scriptures are the inspired, infallible, inerrant, authoritative Word of God.
We believe there is one God, eternally existent in three Persons – Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ: His virgin birth, His vicarious and atoning death, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His personal return in power and glory. Maranatha! Come quickly Lord!
We believe in the absolute necessity of regeneration by the Holy Spirit for salvation because of the exceeding sinfulness of human nature; that men are justified only by God’s grace received by faith through the shed blood of Christ.
We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
We believe in the Holy Spirit’s ministry, with us to bring us to Christ, in us to seal our salvation and bring forth fruit, and upon us to receive power and gifts unchanged from the book of Acts.
Calvary Chapel has been formed as a fellowship of believers in the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Our supreme desire is to know Christ and to be conformed into His image by the power of the Holy Spirit.
We are not a denominational church, nor are we opposed to denominations as such, only their over-emphasis on the doctrinal differences that have led to the division of the body of Christ.
We believe that the only true basis of Christian fellowship is His (Agape) love, which is greater than any differences we may have and without which we have no right to claim to be Christians.
We make no distinctions concerning one’s race or ethnic background because we acknowledge that there is no preferential treatment with God.
